A California native, Dr. Jodi Anderson graduated from UCSB in 1994 with a BA in Psychology and from UCLA in 2006 with a Ph.D. in education. Her 25+ year career in higher education includes leadership roles in student affairs, admissions and outreach, institutional research, international programs, and academic affairs. She previously served on the UC Board of Regents as the Student Regent and on the UCSB Alumni Board of Directors where she helped develop the Alumni Association Student Scholarship.  


Dr. Anderson moved to London in 2008, prior to which she served as the Assistant Dean of Policy, Programs and Administration in the Graudate Division at UCSB. After working at a UK university as the Assistant Dean for International Programs, she returned to working for the UC in 2013 and currently serves dual roles for the UC in London.

As the Senior Director for the University of California Trust (UK), she leads efforts to broadly engage alumni and friends, working closely with campus-based colleagues and local UC alumni network leaders to involve alumni in events and philanthropic giving to the campuses.

She also serves as the Senior Director, Alumni Outreach and Development, for UCLA in Europe. In this capacity Dr. Anderson works to engage UCLA alumni, parents and friends in a rich array of European-based programs and helps facilitate tax-effective giving to UCLA. 

 2017 Gala As a first-generation university student, she is passionate about widening participation in higher education and is particularly interested in working with donors to support scholarships and programs that help students achieve their personal and educational goals. Along with three other UCSB alumni, she and her husband founded the UCSB Alumni UK Scholarship in 2013 which has helped over 20 students study abroad in the UK over the past 5 years.
