Co-President: Ali Hasan Butt, Class of 2009

Ali got his MBA from Haas in 2009 as a Fulbright Scholar from Pakistan and has been based in London since 2011. He has worked primarily in Technology and Consumer Marketing, with his more recent and most exciting work involving Marketing Strategy development and deployment across diverse markets in EMEA and AsPac. Ali is an avid traveller, an enthusiastic sports fan and loves mentoring MBA applicants. Playing League cricket in the summers and racket sports in the winters are his favourite pastimes.

PaulCallaghan

Co-President: Paul Callaghan, Class of 1981

Paul is a business transformation consultant with extensive international experience implementing business strategy and turnarounds that deliver rapid growth. He is a private equity venture partner with Hambro Perks and an NED of pi-top where he oversees the development of the strategy, supply chain and planning at this high growth start up supporting STEM education.

His previous experiences at Motorola Mobility EMEA include managing the product configuration and logistics from 0.6m to 10m units per year over six years. At Premier Farnell, he turned around the European supply chain operations before moving to Singapore to lead the APAC growth strategy for Premier Farnell/element14. At Thomas Cook, he led the implementation of the £500 million cost restructuring and business transformation plan that returned the company to profitability. 

Paul has an MBA for University of California, Berkeley 1981.

HannahGandevia

VP Communications and Engagement: Hannah Gandevia

Hannah Gandevia is the EMEA Lead for Praytell, a PR & Creative Communications Agency built for today's evolving media landscape. She is the partner of a Haas MBA 2017, but was very involved in the Haas community, holding leadership positions on both the Haas Partners and Women in Leadership Clubs.

Hannah also holds a position on the London Business School Women in Business ExCo and spearheads the London chapter of Changemaker Chats, a speaker salon series for "Women on their Way to Changing the World".

Hannah joined the UC Berkeley-Haas UK Club Board as VP of Communications and Engagement in early 2017, and has enjoyed plugging into the London based Haas community. 

She is married to Eddie and is a new mum to baby Jude.
