Widely recognized as the premier global research university, the UC has over 230,000 undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at its 10 campuses and boasts over 1.5 million living alumni.  The UC system enrolls undergraduates from more than 100 countries across the globe – with over 6 percent of University of California undergraduates coming from outside of the United States. The UC welcomes international student applications.

 As well, on an annual basis, over 850 UC students choose to study in England, Scotland or Ireland. University of California Education Abroad Program (UCEAP) students participate in semester, year-long, summer, as well as internship programs.  UCEAP students are invited to attend various UC Trust and UC Alumni UK events during their time in the UK, providing outstanding opportunities to network with alumni from their home campuses.  More details about opportunities for UC students studying in the UK to interact with alumni are provided in the UC Students section.
