Matthew is Executive Director of Development for UCLA in Europe and responsible for leading UCLA's Centennial Campaign in Europe. Matthew has a Master's and Ph.D. in Musicology from the University of California, Davis, and has worked with UC since 2003.
Prior to that he was Head of Marketing for the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, and held sales and marketing positions for United Music Publishers and Cala Records.
Matthew has written 200 articles for several BBC publications, numerous academic and trade journals, and his by-line has appeared in the New York Times, and (London) Independent newspapers. Matthew is married to Caroline Humphries, a designer and career coach. They live in North London.
