Trustee Phil White

Phil White is the President of the Pacific View Foundation, a family foundation based in California, which provides support to non-profit organisations in the San Diego region. Phil is active in the community, having served on the board and committees of numerous charities both in San Diego and in London (such as The UC Trust UK, UC Santa Barbara Foundation, Mama's Kitchen, The Mingei Museum, The Rancho Santa Fe Foundation, The Bishop's School, Francis Parker School, Salvation Army, The Museum of Man, The NTC Foundation, YMCA, and The ACLU, amongst others).

Prior to these non-profit roles, Phil worked in executive management for a number of high technology start up firms, most notably working 15 years for Qualcomm, a fortune 500 telecommunications firm, where his last role was group president and corporate officer.

Phil graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with BA degress in both business economics and history.

Phil and his wife, Ann, along with their teenage daughter currently reside in San Diego. The family lived in the UK for many years prior to relocating to California, and maintains strong ties to the UK where their teenage son attends school.
