Perry Poussard Jr., Esq, MBA joins the UC Trust Board with over 15 years’ experience in coaching, mentorship, facilitation, and learning experience design and a background in the performing arts, entertainment law and business. He is currently developing/pitching television programmes and seeking production partners in London and Europe. Previously, Perry worked as a trainer with Royal Caribbean International in addition to the Walt Disney Company developing and delivering their learning programs to cast members and guests. He also served as a brand ambassador for the Company and recruiter for the Disney College Program. While a student at UCLA Anderson, Perry held multiple board positions, helped found the Entertainment Cross-Campus Collective student organization, and co-founded a 501(c)(3), Broadway West. He is the recipient of the William M. Cockrum Fellowship, the Jenessa Shapiro Award for Excellence in Management & Organizations, and the Chancellor's Service Award. In addition to his roles as a content producer and Associate Communications Coach at Keany Communications, Perry currently provides instructional design support for UCLA Anderson as part of the Instructional Design and Learning Experience team. He received his B.A. from Louisiana State University and his J.D. with Honors from Southwestern Law School. He is admitted to practice law before the State Bar of California. He received his M.B.A. with Honors from UCLA Anderson and has a professional certificate for Producing from the UCLA School of Theatre, Film, and Television. Additionally, Perry has volunteered with the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles and is a supportive advocate for the Make-a-Wish Foundation, Easterseals Disability Film Challenge, and Legal Voices of the Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic.
