Kara graduated from UCSB in 2010 with degrees in Business Economics and History and also participated in UCEAP at the University of Sussex and the University of York in the UK. After graduating, Kara joined the Financial Services Assurance practice at PwC in San Francisco before returning to Santa Barbara to work in the Internal Audit department at Deckers Brands. Kara moved to London in 2017 and quickly became involved in the UC Alumni network. She now heads the Internal Audit function for Ralph Lauren Europe and lives in East London with her wife and new puppy, Potato.
In her free time, Kara can be found exploring the neighbourhoods of London, particularly the many local breweries that make up the continuously growing craft beer scene. You can ask her for recommendations at the next UC Alumni Third Thirsty Thursday.

Baron graduated from UCSB in 2015 with degrees in Economics and Political Science and also participated in UCEAP at University College London. After graduating from UCSB, Baron returned to the UK to study for his MSc Finance at Bayes Business School before moving back to California to work in M&A Data Analytics at EY. Baron moved back to London in 2021 and dove straight back into the UC Alumni network. He is now an assistant director in EY's London office and lives in West London.
When he is not at the office, Baron can be found at the Emirates stadium cheering on his beloved Arsenal or popping outside London to go for a long walk in the countryside.
