The University of California constantly strives to serve society through its research and public service initiatives. These programs not only benefit those who learn and serve at UC campuses, but provide vital contributions to local and global communities within education, medicine, technology, and more. Sustainability Funds at the UC campuses

The 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) will be held this year in Glasgow, Scotland between October 31 and November 12. With climate change being an ongoing international concern, we are highlighting the following funds promoting sustainability at the UC campuses.

These funds provide grants for student-led campus sustainability projects including:
  • Promoting environmental awareness
  • Engaging in sustainability research
  • Advocating for climate and environmental justice
  • Reducing greenhouse gas emissions
  • Increasing energy and water efficiency
  • Limiting the amount of waste created on campus
  • Encouraging healthier, more planet-friendly lifestyles

Study Abroad Scholarship Funds at the UC campuses

The University of California Trust (UK) supports student study abroad scholarship funds year-round. This quarter, from November 15 - 19, we recognize International Education Week (IEW), which celebrates the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide.
